The Top Concentration Killers
Most people lose focus for two reasons, either distractions or exhaustion.
People live their lives the same way they use the internet, they have many tabs open simultaneously, and they think they are more productive. Working on too many projects won’t make you more productive. It makes you more forgetful, thus decreasing your ability to get things done. Focus on working on no more than three projects.
The second reason most people can’t focus is exhaustion. Dr. Michael Baime states that being exhausted impairs attention, short-term memory, and other mental functions. Instead of working longer, try to work fewer hours, but eliminates all distractions around you.
My new coaching program focuses on these two elements. It helps business owners grow their business and leadership skills without working 100 hours per week using the 60 -Day growth plan. You should check it out.
If you want to be more productive, eliminate distraction, avoid exhausation and embrace consistency.
Consistency is critical
There is no doubt that Chick-fil-A is obsessed with consistency, not perfection. They want to serve you a consistent chicken sandwich, but not perfect.
They do not care about having a perfect online presence. They want to serve you a consistent sandwich. They understand that a perfect store does not exist, so they do the next best thing, consistency.
Too many times, people wait to be perfect before they share themselves with the world. Stop waiting to be perfect and focus on being consistent.
Perfect businesses don’t exist, but consistent companies make money. Consistent businesses make a difference, and organizations that make a difference occupy a special place in our hearts.

Stop waiting for the right moment. The right moment is right now.
Stop waiting for the right moment
Waiting for the right moment is a form of fear. Fear that keeps you average but not fulfilled. It teaches you to avoid doing what you need to do.
A friend of mine had a dream to work for Carmax, but they told him that he was not qualified. He got mad and started his own company. Now his income exceeds 1 million dollars per year. It is time for you to get mad too? It is time for you to declare that you are ready. Do not wait for other people to decide your future.
You are ready now, but you do not feel like it. We have been living in a society that brainwashed us to believe that the easiest way to succeed is to get chosen. If you want a better job, apply for 100 jobs, and pray, one of them will choose you. If you want to get promoted, work extra hard, and hope your manager has noticed you.
I know starting something on your own is hard. Seth Godin wrote about this difficulty, “We are naturally afraid of change, but without starting something, you’ll always be stuck and waiting for something or someone to tell you to move.”
Do not wait to be told. Tell yourself to move.
